The School of Library & Information Studies is proud that in its more than 50-year history, it has produced graduates and attracted faculty who provide significant leadership to the field of information studies and more recently in information technology as well. FSU’s School of Library & Information Studies retains its commitment to preparing outstanding leaders for information professions by examining the most important issues of the information age and helping make sense of the connections between people, information and technology. In doing so, it maintains a respect for the knowledge and traditions of the past, while it continues to explore new ways to educate information professionals and enables individuals and organizations to use information effectively.
This web site was created because we believe that maintaining strong relations between the College, its alumni and its friends will help all of us by strengthening the academic programs and reputation of the College, and creating opportunities for students, graduates and friends.
Within this section of the web site you will find:
• Helping others take advantage of the College’s academic programs
• Supporting education and/or research via annual giving and major gifts
• Helping build an alumni & student support network
• Taking advantage of FSU’s resources for alumni
No matter how or when you were a part of the FSU community, you remain a partner in our continued success and we would love to hear from you.
Sincerely,
Larry Dennis & Mary Jane Little
